Summit hosts St. Pat’s Day Party to benefit community fund

Carrying on a long tradition as the hub of community life in Park Ridge, Summit of Uptown hosted a St. Pat’s Day Party March 1 that benefitted the Park Ridge Community Fund (PRCF). From left Millie O’Brian, PRCF Board Member, Sheri Roche, PRCF President, and Wilson Anhar, Executive Director of Summit of Uptown, who is also a PRCF board member were on hand to greet guests who enjoyed the festive evening that featured the Dillon-Gavin Irish Dancers.

The Park Ridge Community Fund Annual Meeting was held on Thursday, May 4 at The Summit of Uptown where each of the agencies it funds received a letter dictating their allocations. Board members were voted in and guests enjoyed a tasty buffet dinner.

Sharon Showalter and Sandee Main were acknowledged and appreciated as volunteers for the PRCF. Eric Nelson with Nelson Automotive Inc. was also recognized as being the largest single living donor to the PRCF, having donated $60,000 since 2012.
